Subject: Official Statement on the proposed Arab Recovery and Reconstruction Plan for Gaza

The Sovereign Imperial and Royal House of Ghassan expresses its appreciation for the Arab Recovery and Reconstruction Plan introduced at the Cairo Summit on March 4, as adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This initiative offers a promising foundation for constructive dialogue regarding the future of the Gaza Strip and its residents. The Royal House of Ghassan and all its affiliated organizations worldwide are actively working through diplomatic efforts to raise awareness about the plight of the Palestinians in accordance with accepted international law. We are at the disposal of the Arab League and all parts involved to help facilitate the implementation of the aforementioned reconstruction plan. His Royal Highness, the Sovereign Prince of Ghassan, fully endorses this plan and is committed to collaborating with Arab partners, regional governments, the European Union, and the global community to facilitate its implementation. It is imperative that all reconstruction efforts prioritize effective governance and security in Gaza, anchored in a political framework that is mutually acceptable to both Palestinians and Israelis. In alignment with our partners, the Royal House of Ghassan advocates for the swift reestablishment of the Palestinian Authority’s governance in Gaza, as this is essential for the welfare of the Palestinian people. Furthermore, we support the immediate execution of the ceasefire and hostage release agreement, which is vital for concluding hostilities and advancing the recovery and reconstruction of the region. The Royal House also emphasizes the urgent need to resume humanitarian assistance to Gaza on a substantial scale, as this aligns with fundamental human rights and adheres to International Humanitarian Law. Access to food and clean water must be upheld and protected, reaffirming our commitment to human dignity. The Prince of Ghassan aspires to a rejuvenated and inclusive political solution that can serve as a catalyst for lasting peace and reconciliation in the Middle East, grounded in a credible and enduring two-state solution. ______________________________________________________________________________
