DESIGN NOTES: The Azure field with the bend represents the armiger’s ancestry in both England and Ireland. The Acorns slipped and leaved represent faith, strength, and endurance. Additionally, the White Oak is the state tree of Maryland, the armigers birthplace and residence. The Or, Gules, and Argent are representative of the Maryland state flag, and Gules and Or are the colors of the US Marine Corps, of which the armiger is a veteran. The crest is an homage to the Clan Kelley arms in Ireland.
