The Royal Ghassanid Academy of Arts and Sciences
The Royal Ghassanid Order of Arts and Sciences, whose medal bears the effigy of HIRH Prince Sheikh Nassif El Chemor (1945-2017), was created to honor the late Prince due to his altruism. Sheikh Nassif served as mayor of Kferhata and was a well-known and awarded writer and researcher. He helped thousands of people by giving thousands of his books and documents to several university students. Recipients have contributed to the House and/or the world in the Arts and Sciences in some manner.

The Royal Ghassanid Academy of Arts and Sciences: a high academic institution based in Bonn, Germany, representing Lebanon, Jordan, Brazil, the United States, and Canada. It aims to assemble acclaimed scholars and artists worldwide to promote culture in all its manifestations and expressions. Another primary goal is educating poor countries, especially in the Middle East. It’s under the auspices and protection of the Sovereign Imperial and Royal House of Ghassan, which has been accredited by the United Nations with Special Consultative status since 2016. The Royal Academy is under the guidance of Prof. Thomas Schirrmacher, PhD, ThD, an internationally recognized scholar with over one hundred books published.

Insignia: Fellows are entitled to wear the Order's academic hood, an Oxford full shape made of scarlet material and lined with white silk.
